We offer various treatment options for women’s health ranging from in-house treatment at our clinics, to the teaching of specific exercises which are useful for bladder weakness, after surgery, pregnancy or trauma.
Our women’s health sessions are all led by our expert physiotherapists that can work alongside our other therapists who may have a role in helping you with your particular issue.
More than 80% of continence issues are curable – but less than 5% of women seek help, because they are either too embarrassed or they don’t know that help is available – so tell your friends about us.
For more information on bladder control issues, this link explains things in more detail.
Making an Appointment
We know that it can be daunting to take the first steps seeking help for a problem that feels so personal to you, so we do everything that we can to make the experience as easy and comfortable for you as possible. It is important to remember that we talk about these issues every day, so nothing that you tell us will embarrass us!
To make an appointment, you need to call the clinic and ask for a women’s health initial assessment. You will be asked for your name and contact details, but no more details will be requested at this stage.
The initial assessment lasts for approximately 1 hour, and you may be required to undress from the waist downwards and / or may require an internal examination. Review appointments can last anywhere between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the course of treatment that you decide upon.
- 60 minutes – £45
- 30 minutes – £40
